in the gatchell home as a present for graduation the graduate gets to pick a destination they want to travel to and a friend to come along for the fun. i was the lucky friend last year that got to go to boston for eight days. since ian was a little boy he has dreamed of going to a red sox game at fenway park. june 16 this boys dream came true.

since tanner was serving his mission in japan at the time he missed out on the trip. so for a little post-mission, pre-mission road trip tanner and ian went to boston for nine days. tonight they are at fenway enjoying themselves and watching the red sox win.

theres nothing quite like the atmosphere at fenway park. the hot dogs, peanuts, cotton candy, and beer. cant forget the gallons of beer consumed by viewers each game. its the ultimate all-american party. im not a true fan of baseball but i seriously enjoyed myself. i dont think anything beats the moment of when the entire crowd stood to sing sweet caroline. everyone was singing their guts out. i felt like i was a part of history.

he is keeping me posted on everything happening there tonight. those two are in heaven and i am so unbelievably jealous. thanks for eating a hot dog for me e! i fell in love with boston and fenway. cant wait to go back some day..
