{bagley fam reunion}

heber mountain

june 18-19

for the annual family reunion this year we stayed in cabins on heber mountain. there was a total of 70 people. and many were missing. our family is getting huge! there were so many activities to do. the first was a high adventure ropes course that ended with a zip line. since me and jacob are both babies and do not get along well with heights, we watched.

and i was the designated babysitter. which i was totally fine with!

this is the majority of the girls plus danny and michael.

when i say majority i mean not even half. we're missing all the aunts, 10 of them, and many of the older cousins.

that night we sat around the fire, made smores, sang to the guitar, and later listened to a scary story told by uncle scott. who, bytheway, is the most incredible story teller ever.

saturday afternoon we rented paddle boats and went out on legacy lake. talk about gorgeous! seriously i was dying. it is so pretty up there. i love being in the mountains.

for some reason there was a canoe of boys that like to follow our boat around. like really, they followed us the whole time. how great that we captured them in our picture. they're in the canoe in the background. we had our cousin benjamin kindly tell them that they were making his girlfriend feel uncomfortable. we got a lot of laughs outta that one.

here we are caught in the moment of trying to paddle that dang thing. you would go faster if you got your arms into it. so naturally, our arms were pumping just as fast as our legs. im sure we looked like complete fools. so classic.

the reunion really was so fun this year. we're finally over our awkward teenage years where we struggled to find things to talk about. those were bad years. we're back to being best friends again! i really do have the greatest family and love spending time with them. im so grateful for my aunt michelle for putting it all together and always insisting that we have a reunion every year. they really are the best!
