day excursion to the city.
this cute girl is lexie. i met her mom in relief society at church and their family has kind of adopted me. she ditched school on thursday so we could go play. lexie and julia, who is 12, are like the little sisters i never had. i love them!
this is lucy. she has taken such good care of me, she's my illinois mom. i feel like i have known their family my entire life not just a few weeks.
gorgeous day.
we went to little italy for dinner and had the most amazing pasta and bread. the restaurant was called pompeii. i expected little italy to be more themed than it was. it was just a regular street with a million italian restaurants. i guess i was hoping it would be extreme like the venetian at vegas. little disappointed in that, but it was something i wanted to see so it was worth it.
on our way home we drove up state street and jumped out of the car for this photo opp. love this girl and love the city!!
