autumn evening

today i went to the chicago botanic garden. one word to sum it up: unreal. i took about a million pictures. the leaves are starting to change and i am loving it. the feeling in the air is so crisp. i have fallen in love with this place.

i had hot chocolate for breakfast this morning. i forget how much i love that stuff.

i cant wait to be at home and bake halloween sugar cookies, and pumpkin pecan pancakes.

i am dying to watch the movie 'you've got mail' its the perfect holiday movie

i cant wait to crunch leaves under my feet

i secretly have started listening to pandora christmas station

my mom is going to be here in one week from tonight and we are going to have the time of our lives. its our first 'girls' trip. the boys really will be missed though.

currently: snuggled up in my blanket watching tv and eating popcorn. completely content.
